The Teaching Assistant will run a calculus help session one night per week, sometimes along with one other tutor. He or she will also help with homework and answer other questions from calculus students.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Responsibilities
Requirements
This student must have taken at least one year of calculus, and have some knowledge of using graphing calculators. Experience with current calculus text in use at Bates and/or tutoring on any level, is a plus.
Reporting
The TA reports to Grace Coulombe, Director of the Math Workshop. He or she works within a room in Canham House. TI81, 82, 83, and 85 calculators may be used.
