MOA: Curatorial Intern (S9821C)
Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
Curatorial Interns are responsible for independent research for exhibition development. Interns must demonstrate knowledge of proper handling and storage techniques for art.
Interns must have an art history background, or equivalent. They must also be computer-literate, and demonstrate solid writing ability. Previous museum experience is a definite plus. Interns work in the Museum of Arts. Interns frequently use standard office technology, as well as digital cameras.
Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Database management
- Scholarly research and writing
- Exhibition design and installation
