MOA: Life Model Coordinator (S9663B)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

This position coordinates the weekly life drawing session, Wednesday evenings (6:00-9:00PM) working with models, the public, and museum staff.

The Life Drawing Coordinator sets up the drawing studio, times poses, organizes breaks, takes admission fees, monitors the heater and/or fan if used, and returns the studio to a neutral state after the session.

Requirements


Organization and communication skills are essential. Experience life drawing or modeling is preferred, but not a must.

Reporting


The Life Model Coordinator reports to the Education Coordinator, supervises the Life Models, and works closely with the public, students, and models.

Responsibilities


The Life Model works within a studio environment. He or she must be able to do light lifting.
