Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
SUMMER POSTING: The Mail Services Assistant will work closely with the Mail Production Coordinator in all tasks of bulk mail and campus mail fulfillment. He or she will operate printing and mailing equipment, such as folders, ink jet printers, labelers, tabbing, laminating, and the metering machine. He or she is required to manually label and/or manually insert documents. Occasionally, the Mail Services Assistant is called on to deliver/pickup materials at other departments.
Please Note: Driver certification is required to drive campus vehicles.
Pay Rate: Academic year $7.75 Summer $8.00

Requirements
EXPERIENCE: This student must have taken the driver certification course at Bates in order
to drive college vehicles.
