Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
The employee will be taught to operate the washing and drying machines safely. Requires organization skills to keep the laundry sorted using the color coding system. Employee must have good time management skills in order to complete the process for the whole gymnasium in 5 hours.
- Process laundry from 5:30p.m.- 10:30 p.m.
- Assist the Equipment Manager with cleaning of personal laundry bags, loops, towels and uniforms
- Replace cleaned clothing in locker and organize clean laundry for the teams.

EXPERIENCE: Organized, efficient, able to distinguish colors, able to follow written directions and work with limited supervision

Responsibilities
ENVIRONMENT: Laundry room is warm and very noisy. Unpleasant odor from time to time
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically demanding and requires the ability to stand for long periods of time. Climbing stairs. Able to push and carry heavy loads or both dirty and clean laundry. Must be able to distinguish colors because a color-coded system is used to identify clothing's location.
