Please give the name of the member of the Bates College faculty who will be writing on your behalf.  The faculty member should send by Monday, March 24, 2008, a letter or e-mail supporting your candidacy to Dave Baker, 121 Lane Hall or dbaker2@bates.edu.

Attach a one page essay explaining your interest in traveling to Japan and participating in Technos International Week. Please include any study of or cultural connection to Japan. Please discuss what you consider the challenges and rewards of international cultural exchange and the reason travel to Japan would be an academically and personally enriching experience for you.
