The track and field programs will now compete on an eight-lane bi-radial track with an eight-lane straightaway, similar to those used in European designs. The new track features a polyurethane surface and allows for a natural-grass infield large enough to include an entire soccer pitch that hosts men's and women's soccer, providing use in both the spring and fall.
