245 College Street houses the Offices of Security and Campus Safety, staffed 24 hours a day by dispatchers and officers prepared to respond to on-campus emergencies. In addition to campus patrols, Security and Campus Safety offers crime-prevention programs, self-defense classes, parking permits, and a student escort program. The office is connected to a system of more than 120 emergency phones located throughout the campus.
