Olivia Zurek has been an All-NESCAC selection in each of the past two seasons.

LEWISTON, Maine – Olivia Zurek has been selected as a First-Team All-NESCAC outside hitter for the Bates College volleyball team on Wednesday afternoon.

Zurek '05 (Arlington, Mass.), a second team selection last year, lead the New England Small College Athletic Conference with 4.43 kills per game and was sixth in the league with a .313 hitting percentage.

She finished her career with 1,520 kills and 1,648 digs, posting career highs in kills (487), kills per game (4.43), hitting percentage (.313), and blocks per game (0.45) in 2004. Zurek led Bates to a 16-13 record, marking the seventh consecutive season Bates has posted a winning record.

The Bobcats advanced to the NESCAC Championship with a 4-6 conference record, falling to Amherst in the quarterfinal round.
