Ariffin, Parris, Kelly repeat as All-NESCAC selections

Bates sophomore Nessrine Ariffin and senior Cheri-Ann Parris were both named First Team All-NESCAC, and sophomore Myriam Kelly was named Second Team All-NESCAC on Thursday as the New England Small College Athletic Conference announced its end-of-season awards.

Women’s squash ‘on fire’ at CSA Team Nationals

The Bates women’s squash team pulled off its second upset win in as many days on Saturday in Kurtz Cup play at CSA Women’s Team Nationals, upending No. 11 Middlebury 6-3 in the bracket semifinals to advance to Sunday’s championship match against Dartmouth.

Women’s squash upsets Williams at CSA Nationals

Throwing the seedings out the window — which doesn’t happen very often in college squash — the No. 15 nationally ranked Bates women’s squash team scored a 5-4 triumph over rival and 10th-ranked Williams on Friday in the quarterfinal round of Kurtz Cup play at CSA Team Nationals.
