Eliza Kano-Bower

2007-2008: Against Southern Maine in September, held her opponent scoreless in No. 6 singles.  Clenched a 6-1, 6-2 defeat of Colby’s Gracie Shanks in singles in the Bowdoin Round Robin…. Battled for the decisive point for a 4-4 match against Babson in number five singles, cruising in the opening set, 6-0 before her opponent bounced back with a 6-3 victory in the second to even the match at one set apiece, eventually losing10-5 in the third-set superbreaker…. Competed at the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament Division III Championship.

Bates: Member of the outdoor club and photography club.

High School: Won model United Nations awards… Earned varsity letters in soccer, tennis, and nordic skiing…DCL all-star in nordic skiing as well as tennis.
