Mallika Raghavan

2007-2008: Served as co-captain…. In the No. 2 doubles flight of the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament Division III Championship, Raghavan and Liz Fleming topped Dominika Hudcova and Maile Macleod of Simmons College 9-7 in the Round of 32…. Raghavan and Liz Fleming scored a 9-8, 8-6 victory over Caitlin Scudder and Emily Kennedy in Bates’ bout against Division 2 University of Tampa in February…. Raghavan and Fleming paired up to win 8-4 in second doubles, and Raghavan won 6-4, 6-1 at third singles…. Won  fourth singles in season-closing match against Wesleyan.

Bates: Member of the Hindu Students Club.

High School: Won the Headmaster’s Award… Earned four varsity letters in tennis… Captain of the tennis team in ’03, ’04… All conference in ’02,’03 and ’04.
