2008: Placed fourth in the senior race of the Bates College vs. Colby College Class Wave Relay Carnival on Sept. 6 (16:01), contributing two points to her team’s win over Colby…. Ran a 22:57.58 in a 5K race Sept. 13 at the Jumbo Invitational…. At ECAC’s, placed 66th on a 6K course (25:52) in a field of 298.

2007: Spent the fall semester abroad in Sweden.

2006: On the 6K course at the Jumbo Invitational, Sept. 23, Smith recorded a time of 26:44…. Ran a 21:03.60 at State of Maine’s, placing 46th in a field of  130 runners.
