Welcome to all Batesies entering the college in fall 2009! Here you will find information you'll need to know as you complete forms in our portal system called Garnet Gateway.

The Garnet Gateway is a Bates secure online records service. It is here that you are able to view personal information on academics, housing, finances, and make changes to your record. No one else may gain access to this information without your ID and PIN.

To get to the Garnet Gateway go to the main Bates web page at www.bates.edu. Under the "hot list menu," click on the garnet gateway option. This takes you to the login page. Next, log into the garnet gateway by entering your Bates ID number and your personal identification number (PIN), initially assigned to you by Admissions. You must change your PIN to something new once you have logged in.
