Counseling Services

Personal counseling and psychological services are available at the Health Center, and by referral, elsewhere.  Services include consultation, assessment, psychological testing, and counseling.  There is no charge for   appointments with on-campus counselors and psychologists.   A consulting psychatrist is available to provide psychiatric evaluation and/or therapy.  Psychiatric appointments are made through the Director of Health Services.  Every effort will be made to see students with urgent problems as soon as possible.  Students interested in psychological services should come to the Health Center and sign in to see a nurse.  You do not need to announce the reason for your visit.  When meeting with a nurse, a brief intake interview will be conducted.  You will also be asked to provide your schedule and ways to contact you for scheduling appointments.
