And Counting

This spring marked the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Milton L. Lindholm ’35 Scholar-Athlete Award. Founded by the College Club (now the coed College Key), the award, honoring Milt’s service as dean of admissions, goes to the senior male and female letterwinners with the highest GPAs. Flanking Lindholm (who turned 95 in June) are this year’s winners: middle-distance track athlete Ashley Wentworth of North Andover, Mass., and rower Timothy Austin of Chesterland, Ohio. The first winners, in ’76, were volleyball, basketball, and softball athlete Candace Stark (now Bouris) and soccer player Angelo Salvucci Jr. Photograph by Phyllis Graber Jensen
