Byrnes '05 to travel with Canada rowers to World Championships

VICTORIA, British Columbia -- Bates College alumnus Andrew Byrnes '05 has made Canada's rowing team as a traveling reserve for the 2006 World Rowing Championships.
The FISA World Rowing Championships will be held in Eton, England August 20-27.
Byrnes (Toronto, Ontario), a dual citizen of the United States and Canada, made the Canadian Under-23 eight crew last summer and helped that crew to a bronze medal at the U-23 World Championships in Amsterdam.
