Deposits for Extra-Cost, Off-Campus Short Term Units

Students who register for off-campus extra-cost Short Term units are assessed a non-refundable $500 deposit (included in the cost of the Short Term unit).  Students are responsible for paying this deposit, even if they decide to drop the course at a later point in time.

For this reason, we urge students and their families to carefully consider this deposit policy prior to registration.

The $300 registration deposit paid at the time a student accepts admission to Bates is held until graduation or withdrawal from the College and is applied to the account at that time.
