Monthly Payment Plan

Bates works with Tuition Management Systems (TMS) to provide monthly payment plans for students and their families.  Most families use a ten-month payment plan that starts in July and ends in April.  The first five payments apply to fall semester and the second five to winter semester.  Interest is not charged, although there is a $65 enrollment fee for the plan.  For additional information or to enroll in a plan online, families may visit www.afford.com/bates.

Participants in the payment plan will continue to receive monthly bills from Bates until the student's account is paid in full, and reminders may be sent to families from Student Financial Services if the amount budgeted through TMS does not appear to be sufficient to cover the student's bill by the end of the term.
