December 14, 2006:
Q: Christine, Below I have outlined a few tasteful suggestions which I believe will breathe new life into the rotation:

-Meat night, like the one last year
-Festivus, refer to Seinfeld for more info
-ban vegetables
-open new commons soon
Yours in scripture,
Chef Boyardee
A: Chef,

Where have you been? Talking your suggestions into account, we have
banned parsnips ....step in the right direction Hugh?

Great to hear from you, write soon and have a safe holiday.

Q:  I have enjoyed visiting this site many times over. So many wonderful works of art to see ! Thanks))))
A: Glad you enjoy it. Thanks for writing.

December 11, 2006:
Q:
Is it true that all the food in commons contains laxatives?
A: No this is not true...Ever heard of a Urban Myth. This one is right up
there with the the myth that you can have your kidneys stolen and wake
up in a bathtub of ice.....Don't believe everything you hear.

December 5, 2006:
Q: Whenever there is chicken ceasar salad, there is always a huge, convoluted, and crowded line.  I don't know how many experiments have been done with flow, but I think some work needs to be done.  Sometimes I don't even want to bother with waiting for the delicious salad because the line is long and ever-so slow.  Could there be a way to have students on both sides of the table instead of just one?  I think this would speed-up the process by... well... twice as much.
A: We have looked at flow in this area and will certinally look at it again
and see if there is a better way to approach the lay out especially on
chicken ceasar day. Thanks for writing.

Q: The whole wheat rotini, whole wheat spaghetti, and brown rice fusili cook far better than the other vegan pasta, for example sphelt spaghetti. I'm sure you've noticed: the other vegan pastas tend to aggregate into mushy, unappetizing balls of dough. Tonight's whole wheat rotini was a welcome respite from the rice noodles and sphelt spaghetti from the rest of the week. Can we have ones that cook better more often pleeeaaase? Thank you!
A: We have been working on this and will continue to. The problem is that
we are trying to provide a variety and there are few options. Thanks for writing.

Q: What is the kind of sprouts that are in the salad bar? (alfalfa, broccoli etc.)Thanks.
A: We have all these types of sprouts on the bar. Is there something in
specific that you are looking for? Thanks for writing.

December 4, 2006:
Q:

A: What, how about turkey? Thanks for writing.

Q: We need more cranberry sauce!!!
A: You can have it. Thanks for writing.
