Q: While talking to students during dinner tonight, someone mentioned that we should create a student job which requires that person to go around and collect the mugs. Sure, no one really wants to work "in" Commons, but maybe creating this type of job would be desirable. Any thoughts?

A: Actually the Hot and Sour soup has proved not to have a high
acceptability, but we can try the Sweet Corn Chicken Soup- we already
serve a corn chowder FYI. Thanks for writing.
Q: Please appoint a comittee of students for your food. There are so many improvements that one could make!
A: We have had a FAC- Food Advisory Committee- for the past ten years. This is a committee sanctioned by the student government the charge of which is to discuss Dining Services related matters. The committee meets every two week.
Q: Would it be possible to get a greater variety of fresh fruits available in place of the melon that has been out nearly every day? I remember that in previous years there used to be pinapple slices, strawberries, kiwis, and oranges rotated in as regularly as the melon is currently offered this year. I don't think I've seen fresh pinapples once this year so far... Now we're just getting melon cubes nearly every meal, and it's becoming repetative and losing its appeal. Maybe we can get the fresh fruit salad put out in the mornings to be offered at lunch and dinner, too. More variety, please!
