Bates organist to give recital

LEWISTON, Maine -- Organist Marion Anderson, professor of music at Bates College, will perform a recital of works by J.S. Bach, Brahms and Schumann Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. in the Bates College Chapel. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

Anderson studied at Stetson University, the Amsterdam Conservatory and recieved a D.M.A. From Yale University. He performs on the harpsichord as well as the organ and has given concerts in the United States, Canada and England.
