Students and faculty are encouraged to actively seek any of the following services offered by the Multicultural Center (MCC).

Advising: One of our important goals is to advise and support students on a variety of issues regarding their cultural, social, professional, and academic development.

Advocacy: We advocate on behalf of individuals and student groups to propose, promote, and support initiatives that benefit the campus community.

Outreach: In conjunction with various offices at Bates, we engages in outreach endeavors to new students and faculty by generally raising their awareness about who we are and what we offer.

Student Groups: Student groups are a significant part of our community and offer students various opportunities to learn about their own cultures as well as the cultures of others.

Funding: MCC offers funding to student groups that are planning programs which align with our mission, often in form of co-sponsorship.
