The Bates College Chaplain organizes many opportunities for those interested in service and justice. Some of these include:
- Hunger and Homelessness Awareness and Action Month in November
- Service at the Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine
- Occasional collaboration with the Service-Learning Program, the Volunteer Program, and campus service organizations
- Special service projects sponsored independently by campus religious organizations and Wellroot
- Annual William Stringfellow Award for Justice and Peace. More information.
