2007-2008: Advanced to the quarterfinals of Flight A with Ben Stein and won in the first round of the B Flight Singles of the Middlebury Invitational in September, topping Bowdoin's Matt Knise (6-0, 6-1).... At ITA Championships in late September, Berger and Ryan Mannelly teamed up to defeat Braude/Whitter of UMass-Boston 8-3.... Made the Flight A doubles semifinals and advanced two rounds in the Flight A Singlesat the Wallach Invitational in October.... Bates went 9-0 against Babson in February; Berger teamed up with classmate Ryan Mannelly to win 8-6 at second doubles, and Berger followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win at fourth singles.... Against Colby in March, won decisively at fourth singles.
