June 28 - August 7

The Bates Summer Scholars Program begins with a welcome dinner on the evening of Sunday, June 28, 2009. Orientation and classes begin Monday, June 29.  The courses are taught by Bates faculty and meet Monday through Friday during the six-week program. The program ends mid-day on Friday, August 7, 2009.

Classes generally meet in the mornings, Monday through Friday. Labs meet in the afternoons. Organized social activities take place on Saturdays; Sundays are unscheduled.
