Greater Boston Food Bank

Join local volunteers as we sort and package canned goods and other non-perishables at the Greater Boston Food Bank. Our hands-on efforts will provide vital assistance to the GBFB and the hundreds of non-profit agencies (soup kitchens, daycare centers, women’s shelters, etc.) that utilize the Food Bank. Volunteers will spend the majority of their time standing on the cement floor in the warehouse so please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Dressing in layers is also recommended.

Please note that because the Boston project has been overenrolled in recent years, we have added projects in Cambridge, Cape Cod, and Worcester so that more people can participate.
