Recycling bins at the entrance of Pettengill Hall.
|
- Every building on campus has clearly marked recycling bins.
- Each room in the residence halls is equipped with a small bin for paper, bottles, and cans. Students should empty these containers into the larger recycling bins when they take out their trash.
- Ink toner cartridges can be mailed in for recycling. Call Julie Rosenbach at 786-8367 for free postage-paid mailing bags.
- Cell phones & rechargeable batteries can be deposited in collection containers located at Ladd Library, Pettingill, and Chase Hall. Click here for proper disposal methods and collection locations on campus.
- Compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) contain small amounts of mercury which should be recycled. See EPA's Frequently Asked Questions about CFL's. You can leave spent CFLs with your custodian for recycling.
