2007 Recyclemania team with scoreboard

In 2006, Bates competed in the national Recyclemania! Competition to see how much we could recycle per capita compared to other schools across America.

In 2007, we localized the competition. Starting in February, Recyclemania! pitted dorm against dorm and house against house to see who could recycle the most per capita. Students in the dorm and house that recycled the most each won a $5 gift certificate to Nezinscot Farm.

We also engaged Bowdoin and Colby in a friendly campus-wide competition, where the winner gets bragging rights until the next year.
