HADLEY, Mass. -- Bates College senior Noah Gauthier won his second straight NESCAC Men's Field Performer of the Week award, the conference announced on Monday.

At last weekend's New England Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Gauthier (Amherst, N.H.) placed first in the hammer throw (183-11) for the second straight year. The three-time All-American and NCAA weight throw champion also placed fourth in the shot put (48-03.25) and eighth in the discus throw (135-11).
