Meredith Greer joined the Bates Mathematics Department in 2002. The majority of her courses center on applications of mathematics in addition to theory. Her research in math biology focuses on mathematical epidemiology. A current project uses mathematical models of prion replication to better understand the treatment of Mad Cow and similar diseases.
