Women's cross country finishes fifth at Jumbo Invitational

The Bobcats finished their top seven runners before any other team. They were led junior Esther Kendall's (Ridgeway, Ontario) 11th-place finish of 20:46.92 over the 5-kilometer course. The Bobcats packed well behind Kendall with sophomore Jennifer Mitton (Reistertown, Md.) finishing 13th, with a time of 20:58.35; junior Katie Bash (Wallingford, Pa.) finishing 18th, with a time of 21.10.75; senior Allie Goldstein (Needham, Mass.) finishing 19th, with a time of 21:17.42; sophomore Chloe Bourne (Litchfield, Conn.) finishing 23rd, with a time of 21.22.35; first-year runner Jennifer Monsulick (Readfield, Maine) finishing 28th, with a time of 21:31.66; and sophomore Elizabeth Rowley (Evanston, Ill.) finishing 29th, with a time of 21:35.69. Tufts' Stephanie McNamara took individual meet honors with a time of 19:24.39. The Bobcats will be running next at the Wesleyan Invitational in two weeks. |
