Spend a Day at Bates

A visit to campus gives prospective students the opportunity to experience student life at Bates. Through these visits prospective students receive a complete understanding of what it means to be a Bates student.

We encourage prospective students to explore Bates College through many lenses. During your visit, you may go on a campus tour, attend classes and campus events, eat in our Dining Commons, relax in a student lounge, and participate in everyday Bates activities.

Prospective students may participate in our Day Hosting program weekdays (full or half days) on the following dates:

October       14-16, 19-20, 26-30
November    2-6, 11-13

An Admissions Interview must be scheduled to participate. If this is not possible, you may schedule an interview for a later date or an Alumni Interview in your area.
