Women's squash to play for fifth place at NESCACs

HARTFORD, Conn. -- The Bates College women's squash team was edged 5-4 by Middlebury in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Women's Squash Championship on Saturday, before rebounding to win 9-0 over Tufts. Junior Whitney Roller (Haverford, Pa.), first-year Mimi Neal (Danvers, Mass.), senior Sophie Runquist (Kent, Conn.) and sophomore Stephanie Cabot (Dover, Mass.) all went 2-0 for Bates on the day at positions 2, 5, 6 and 8, respectively.
The Bobcats (6-8) will play No. 6 seed Hamilton for fifth place in the tournament Sunday at 8:45 a.m.
