Men's squash dispatches GW, Tufts by 9-0 scores

LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates College men's squash team had little trouble defeating both George Washington University and Tufts University on Friday in the Maine Invitational, defeating the No. 23 Colonials and the No. 22 Jumbos both by 9-0 scores.

The No. 12-ranked Bobcats raised their overall record to 12-7 on the season, and by defeating Tufts raised their record against NESCAC opponents to 5-2.

Bates will complete the two-day tournament at the Bates Squash Center on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with a match against No. 33 MIT.
