Piacquad stands out for women's tennis at Vassar

Bates senior Caryn Benisch (Huntington, N.Y.) and junior Alex Piacquad (Yardley, Pa.) went down at No. 1 doubles in a tiebreaker, 9-8 (3). Piacquad also took her opponent at No. 2 singles to a supertiebreaker before ultimately falling 5-7, 7-6 (5), 10-5. The Brewers raised their record to 15-4, while the Bobcats fell to 4-9.
