Help Desk Services hopes the following checklist will help you prepare  your computer to be ready to come to Bates. Please feel free to call us at 207-786-8222 for remote assistance in installing of software and updates.

Update the operating system
NOTE: Do not upgrade to Macintosh Snow Leopard operating system 10.6, it is not currently supported. 
Bring all cd's and discs that came with your computer
All power cords and batteries
Software discs (for ex. drivers and MS Office discs)
External hard drives/ Backup resources
