YOM KIPPUR SERVICES: Hillel and the Multifaith Chaplaincy are happy to announce that Neil Hirsch of Hebrew Union College in New York will be returning to Bates to lead Yom Kippur Services. Services will be as follows: 
10:00AM Yom Kippur Morning Service (Shacharit, with Yizkor service immediately following) in Chase Lounge
4:00PM Torah Study/"Stump the Rabbinical Student" in Chase Lounge 5:00PM Afternoon Services (Minchah) in Chase Lounge
6:00PM Concluding Services (Neilah and Havdallah) in Chase Lounge, with break fast immediately following in Muskie Archives

FIRST SEASONAL FLU SHOT CLINIC FOR STUDENTS - 3:00pm - 5:00 (or until vaccine runs out). New Commons 221   $10.00 Cash     Please Wear Short Sleeves! It's a first come, first served basis beginning at 3pm on the 28th. The Health Center has ordered several hundred more doses of seasonal flu vaccine as well as H1N1 vaccine.  Depending on when the vaccines arrive, we may be offering both  H1N1 and Seasonal Flu vaccines to students during one vaccine clinic.  (The CDC has included simultaneous vaccination in their guidelines).

LECTURE: Professor PZ Myers is no stranger to controversy- viciously attacked by the American Catholic League, nearly dismissed from his tenured position, even threatened with assault and murder. Why? For insulting the wrong God at the wrong time. Hear him tell it in his own words this Tuesday, September 29th, at 5:00 PM in PGill G65 as the Bates Secular Student Alliance presents "The Importance of Blasphemy."
