Bates pianist to perform

LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates senior Taro Hagiwara, a political science major from Kawanishi, Japan, will give a piano recital Monday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

Hagiwara will perform a 90-minute program consisting of Schubert, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Brahms and Chopin. Hagiwara studies piano with Bates artist-in-residence Frank Glazer.
