Cystic fibrosis researcher to speak at Bates

LEWISTON, Maine -- Janet K. Bayleran, director of the genetics program in the molecular laboratory at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor and a clinical instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine, will deliver a lecture titled "Cystic Fibrosis: Model of a Complex Disease" at Bates College on Oct. 22 at 4:10 p.m. The talk is part of the Bio-Seminar Lecture Series at Bates and will be in Room 113 of the Carnegie Science Building. The public is invited to attend free of charge.
