Next Reunion in 2003. Got news? Tap out a note to magazine@bates.edu! Michele Decareau Marchildon, L.P.A., joined Family Medical Associates in Waterville in September 2000. She earned her graduate degree from the Univ. of New England and considers herself "a physician extender." She works with many women patients and provides an "urgent care hour," eight to five each week for patients who need immediate diagnosis or treatment. Scott '95 is alumni director at the Univ. of New England.... Tom Herman is co-founder of Recognition Group, LLC, based in Manhattan. At the Software Assn. of New Hampshire last November, he talked about his previous dotcom's rollercoaster ride, which has been presented in the acclaimed documentary, Startup.com (now available at your local rental store). Tom says that failure is "just another learning tool."... Steve Nichipor and Janice live in Bartlett, N.H., where he runs his own outdoor guiding company (www.bartlettadventures.com) that teaches rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, and backcountry skiing.
