Class of 1925
Edited by Christine Terp Madsen '73

The class lost three members recently: Dorothy Clarke Wilson, Euterpe Boukis Dukakis, and longtime class secretary Kenneth Conner. A laudatory Associated Press story on Mrs. Wilson's life quoted Ted Curtis, her attorney for a number of years, who said she was a "no-nonsense lady," who was "very concerned about the problems of the downtrodden of the world." The Boston Globe, chronicling Mrs. Dukakis' life, quoted her granddaughter Andrea: "Yaya was the quintessential optimist," she said, using the Greek word for grandmother. "'Get my body,' she would say about getting old, 'but don't take my curiosity.'" Obituaries for Mrs. Dukakis and Mrs. Wilson are in this issue; a brief item about the Class of '25, including a vignette from Ken Conner's memorial service, is in this issue's news section; Mr. Conner's obituary will be in the next issue.
