Bates helps international students have a rewarding, stimulating, challenging, and exciting experience.
As the International Student Advisor office for the College, we know and work closely with the 120 international students who are citizens of countries outside of the United States.
We will welcome, introduce, and inform you to the college, the communities of Lewiston and Auburn, and the state of Maine. We also help with visas, I-20's, and other government documents, guidelines, and recommendations.
Throughout the school year, you will hear from us in many ways: through e-mails, newsletters, and meetings. We also invite you to visit, call, or e-mail us, any time.
