College Policies
It is based on a loss prevention model which establishes the safety of drivers and passengers as a fundamental priority in the operation of Bates College Motor Vehicles
The College recognizes the use of motor vehicles as a convenience, and it is not obligated to provide parking for all vehicles entering campus.
All tailgating participants are asked to abide by the following rules:
Students have the option of reporting any criminal activity to local and/or other law enforcement authorities, to Bates College Security and Campus Safety, as well as to any other College authorities
Bates College continues to affirm the value of individual autonomy in making decisions about one's life, and will continue to make education and counseling it's chief strategies for meeting it's responsibilities
