February 26, 2003:
Q: I've been having a craving for falafel in a pita with tahini or hummus. Do you think you could serve it in the Den some time this spring? Thanks!
A: No problem. Christine

Q: I really like the Green Mountain Organic coffee, but you need to always have french roast or a darker roast. This is the only coffee that actually tastes like coffee should. If people like weaker coffee, then they can add hot water or milk or something. But I can't strengthen up weak coffee to make it taste real. The Breakfast Blend this morning (2/22/03) was so weak that I had to throw it out.
A: On Saturday we had not gotten our shipment of French Roast in yet , but we are planning on this being one of the three standard flavors that are available on a daily basis. It should be here today.

February 21, 2003:
Q: Posting "Chef's Special" to the Den website for every day of the week is not going to fly. Please post at least one special so that one can decide if it is worth the trek over there! Thanks!
A: We will make the correction. (Webmaster's note: This happened only during the Spring Break, as the menus we determined on a daily basis and their publication ahead of time was impossible.)

February 13, 2003:
Q: hi - i recently found out i have an iron defeciency and am looking for ways to work more iron into my diet....one of the suggestions from the nutritionist was using spinach instead of lettuce in my salad and i was hoping we could have it a little more often on the salad bar...thanks!
A: Can do. In addition we have added spinach, kale and kohlrabi to our hot vegetable rotation.

February 13, 2003:
Q: I second the request for larger cups by the coffee/hot chocolate machines. That would be excellent! Thanks
A: We are in the search of a non-printed recyclable cup. Now you would think this would be easy as we already have printed recyclable cups, but alas noting is that easy. I will keep you updated.

February 12, 2003:
Q: Way to Go on the steak subs the other night! that is awesome..keep em coming!
A: We have a few surprises up our collective sleeves for you.......this is just one of many. Glad you enjoyed it

February 11, 2003:
Q: An herb cabinet is not complete without parcely... Could we get some? pleeease :)
A: Sorry about that. It will be taken care of this morning.

February 10, 2003:
Q: So, I know that this is a small, insignificant matter, but the raisin bread is starting to get to me. it isn't cut very well and stays stuck together and, when you try and pull the slices apart, it tears into loads of pieces. I know this is a wierd complaint, but i keep getting alot of jam on my hands b/c the bread is falling apart. is there another brand we could get? thanks, dana
A: No food related issue is too small. I have forwarded your concerns to our purchaser and we will be setting up a meeting with our bread vendor. I will update you on the outcome of that meeting.

February 9, 2003:
Q: Can we have chocolate chips available...maybe you could put them by the brown sugar/raisins, or maybe by the salad bar? I know they would be much appreciated by everyone and serve many good purposes. thank you!
A: This should be no problem.

February 9, 2003:
Q: Hi- I just wanted to say thank you for providing such fabulous fruit(esp the red and yel apples and the clementines) at all the meals. I love it all and good fruit keeps me feeling strong and well all day long. It's sooo appreciated. Thanks...
A: You are very welcome.

February 5, 2003:
Q: >Can we please have a vote to get rid of French bread pizza once and for all? that would be super, thanks! PS: Is there any way to have Chicken at the March bar with the vegetable fajita's? That way vegans and cave people like myself are happy.
A: You got it.

February 4, 2003:
Q: Would it be possible to have the creamy Italian salad dressing more often? Thanks!
A: No problem!

February 3, 2003:
Q: The ginger at the salad bar was fantastic. Could we please have it more often? Thank you.
A: Thanks. Should be no problem.

February 3, 2003:
Q: I loved it when you had the avacadoes in the salad bar...that was awesome...nice variety. Thank you!!

Q: Oh my goodness...I am a chicken noodle soup freak, and it was sooooo good tonight. I'm not sure what you did differently, but it was incredible...(I think maybe it was the elbow macaroni noodles)...hehe...Could we keep that a tradition? Thanks so much! You guys are great!
A: Thanks for the kind words, I will pass then on.

February 1, 2003:
Q: I was wondering if it would be possible for large paper cups to be supplied alongside the smaller ones over by the coffee. Thanks a lot.
A: We are working on it. We just need to change our order with the paper vendor
