Concert: Bates Midsummer Lakeside Concert Series. Inanna, Sisters in Rhythm, an all-women vocal and percussion ensemble, performs traditional African polyrhythms. Dance Performance: Student Finale. A celebration of diverse dance traditions. Come for an evening of modern, jazz and hip hop works created by Bebe Miller, Sean Curran, Kathleen Hermesdorf, Danny Buraczeski and Clyde Evans, Jr., all performed by festival students. Highlighting the program will be a performance by local youth participating in the festival's Youth Arts dance and music program under the direction of Jane Weiner. Admission: $5/$2. Guided tours of the campus for prospective students and their families are conducted on the hour, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout the summer.
