Doug Olney is director of finance for the Maintenance of Way Division of the MTA. His division is responsible for maintaining the entire subway infrastructure: track, signals, power, tunnels, and elevated structure. “My main task is to put together the annual budget, and then watch them spend it.” He’s to blame for the $2 subway fare. He had a good outing in the 2002 New York City marathon, and hoped to qualify in 2003 for the Boston marathon... In the heart of Paris, Paul Yntema and his boyfriend renovated a former pocket theater in a building dated from 1670. They created an upscale furnished studio that they rent out.
