Head Coach
Hohlt, who is also the head women's lacrosse coach at Bates, started her coaching career at Plymouth State College. She led the Panther field hockey program to a 78-33-1 record with five postseason berths in six seasons, and boasts a 124-103-1 overall record in 14 seasons with 10 trips to the postseason. Hohlt graduated from Williams College in 1989, where she was an All-Region goalkeeper. She later earned a graduate degree in exercise and sports studies from Smith College. "Being part of the field hockey team gives student-athletes ties to Bates that reach far beyond spending four years here," says Hohlt. "Players uphold and strengthen existing traditions, while establishing new ones for future teams to follow." |
