Agnes Carter Clark has completed chemotherapy treatments and is recuperating from knee surgery.... Stanley and Madeleine Richard Freeman are very involved with the Penobscot Valley Senior College, which offers short courses to folks over 50 who seek "learning for the fun of it." Madeleine is chair of the curriculum committee, recruiting volunteer instructors for new courses.... Muriel Henry Tinkham was very busy this winter on a search committee for a new pastor at her church... Betty Hill Jarvi and Bill planned a D-Day venture, taking them from London to Berlin.... Fred Jones has had a couple of articles published and won the Windrider 16 National Regatta at Keystone Lake, Okla. Bob Vernon works with the New Hampshire Audubon Society, helping with data entry and computer programming. He occasionally teaches the AARP driver safety program and helps in computer workshops at the local council on aging.
