Manager of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group's two high-volume document publishing and mailing facilities, Peter Basiliere, who lives in Milford, N.H., wrote Successful Print Buying, a 176-page industry desk reference that includes both overview information of the print industry and expert, practical advice, such as how to design for print and step-by-step guidelines on evaluating printing companies. Peter has more than 25 years of purchasing and operations management experience in the printing and direct mail industries.... After working as a dramaturge and education director at the Court and Goodman theaters in Chicago for nearly 20 years, Richard Pettengill returned to the Univ. of Chicago in 2000 to finish his Ph.D. in English. He began a new joint appointment in English and theater at Lake Forest (Ill.) College in August 2003.... Robert Pladek has been appointed vice president of marketing and general counsel at FileOn, a provider of records management, data backup and recovery, and information protection services.... Brian Sawyer has joined the law firm now known as Witten, Woolmington, Campbell, Boepple, Welford & Sawyer, P.C., in Manchester, Vt. His wife, Mary Welford, is the Welford in the firm's name.... David Snow, CEO of Medco Health Solutions, which handles pharmacy transactions, is confident that Medco will be involved in Medicare reform, either by offering a federally backed drug discount card for interim aid or by administering the benefits of 40 million eligible senior citizens starting in 2006. Medco filled 78 million mail-order prescriptions in 2003, more than its next three competitors combined.... Karen Stathoplos played Aldonza in the Seaglass Performing Arts production of Man of La Mancha, one of the most rewarding roles she has ever played, she says. Watch for her on the History Channel in October, where she plays the role of Bridget Bishop in a re-creation of the Salem witch trials.
